LanguagesTutor ("we", "us", "our") provides online language tutoring in Pashto, Arabic, Urdu, and related subjects at languagestutor.org. • Information you give us directly — your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and country, when you submit the contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise reach out to enrol in a course.
• Information collected automatically — we use a third-party IP lookup service to detect your approximate country, so we can show the site in the right language and currency context by default. This sends your IP address to that service; it is not stored by us beyond the session.
• Cookies — we set a functional cookie to remember your chosen language (English or Arabic). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and arrange course enrolment
• To send class-related communication (e.g. via WhatsApp or email)
• To send newsletter updates, if you opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
• To operate, secure, and improve the site

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We don't share your personal information with third parties except the service providers that help us run the site and deliver courses:

• Our hosting provider (Vercel), which serves the site and may process data on infrastructure located outside your country
• Our database provider (MongoDB Atlas), which stores the information described above
• Cloudinary, which hosts images shown on the site
• Our email delivery provider, used to send messages you've requested (such as replying to a contact form submission)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LanguagesTutor or others.

4. International data transfers

Because we use globally-distributed infrastructure providers, your information may be processed in a country other than where you live, including the United States. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

5. Data retention

We keep contact and enrolment information for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner (see "Your rights" below).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information
